Ergonomic Products and Experience
1997-Present Designed the ergonomics for all the men’s and women’s Body Geometry saddles. Among these were the Romin and the Power saddle that are currently two of the most popular saddles in the world.
2006 Designed ergonomic grips for Custom Chrome. These were accessories for Harley-Davidson.
2004 Designed the Roulux bicycle with built in features to reduce back pain and neck pain.
1999 Designed comfort grips for straight bar bicycles. These reduced ulnar neuropathy (Cyclist’s Palsy).
1999 Designed Body Geometry gloves that solved the medical condition of Cyclist’s Palsy.
1997 Designed the first Body Geometry bicycle saddle for Specialized. This saddle revolutionized bicycle saddle designs by increasing penile artery blood flow and thereby reduced the danger of erectile dysfunction caused by cycling. This was one of the biggest selling bicycle saddles in history. 500,000 saddles were sold the first year.
1988 Designed the pilot seat ergonomics for the United Airline 767 Fleet. This seat design was used on all 767s.
1986 Designed the Backworks office in Petaluma with higher counter tops, foot spaces under the sinks, and specially designed chairs with lumbar support that reduced intra-discal pressure in the L4-5 and L5-S1 discs.
1984 Designed the Upper Body Machine, the Lower Body Machine, and the Quick Trainer that were used by the training centers for the US olympic gymnastic team to prepare for the 1984 Olympics as well as physical therapy and spine centers around the US and Canada.
1984 Designed the Spine Align Cushion to ease low back pain while sitting,
